Avoid paid survey places like cashcrate
1) You do surveys that take an hour and are supposed to pay 25 cents for the whole time. Then it ends up they pay you nothing at all.
2) They demand your date of birth, mother's maiden name, etc. Then they use it for identity theft. They also do things like demand your phone number and if you give them one, then they go through third party services like VoiceNation somehow contact your local phone company and they put a bunch of illegal charges on your bill for stuff you didn't order. They are able to do this despite not even getting the last 4 digits of your social security number.

Local phone company Verizon allows any company no matter what to do whatever fraudulent charges they on your bill. I've also had voicenation do the fraudulent charges on mine. VoiceNation just fishes for people's local phone numbers and when they get it, suddenly they start stealing money and having your own local phone company take it. VoiceNation is an illegal scam scammy company, doing fraud charges.

I had Verizon and VoiceNation mysteriously found my phone number and then they suddenly started billing $15 a month for voicemail (outrageous since the phone company will charge $5 for it, which proves VoiceNation is nothing but a criminal organization with no real customers) and VoiceNation claimed they'd stop and refund me, but month after month they just kept billing their fraudulent charges and each month Verizon just let them and charged me for it. I eventually quit Verizon for local phone service but still VoiceNation kept on billing and Verizon kept on passing it onto me even for a number that was no longer active.

You're obviously trying to slander VoiceNation because they don't even bill on the phone bill. They ONLY accept credit card payments.

They're billed on my phone bill several times. Want pictures?

Okay update, well after VoiceNation still refuses to refund their illegal charges, a Verizon rep claimed just now they're supposed to be sending the charge back to VoiceNation and they should be reimbursing me the fees.
Well hopefully Verizon keeps their word.
You know what's even more disturbing is how so many websites all will demand these phone number verification stuffs where you must answer the phone, press a number (which 99.99% of the time doesn't work) to receive a pin to verify your phone number. Cashcrate used to do that, too, but they claimed they stopped on their forum.
